Boys and Girls Club of the Smoky Mountains

The Boys and Girls Club of the Smoky Mountains (BGCSM) guides almost 1600 Sevier County youth to become productive, caring and responsible citizens via five club locations in Sevier County: Gatlinburg, Kodak, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and Seymour. For more than 20 years, thousands of children, ages 6 to 18,  have benefited from the guidance they receive at the Boys & Girls Club of the Smoky Mountains.

Bike Elf kicks off our third partnership in June 2017 at the Sevierville Club by challenging approximately 165 summer attendees to a Fit Club challenge. The top twenty-five Fit Club participants based on highest attendance, daily participation and PACER test completion will earn Bike Elf bicycles in August 2017.

Since 1997, Boys & Girls Club of the Smoky Mountains has been an award winning leader in youth development, not only in the state of Tennessee, but worldwide. Examples include:

• For 16 straight years, at least one of BGCSM branches has been selected for Best Program in Tennessee for a variety of youth development areas;

• Best Small Club Program in the World went to their Pigeon Forge branch in back to back years (2001 – 2002);

• In 2002, the Teen Center Director was selected as the National Teen Advisor of the Year;
